A Unique Business Card
I got the most exciting email last week...
I have an advertising background, so as a small business owner I am always trying to create unique and stand out marketing material. Some times I create a new piece so soon after another that I don't have time to truly use up the previous one. I call this the BB effect (Bigger Better); really it is just my way of dressing up my ADD... look a squirrel!
Recently, I created a folding business card shaped like a camera. I really love it. I have been getting tons of comments and lots of positive feedback on it. It really stands out.
So now back to the email.... Last week I got an email from Marathon Press (they are ones the printed my Camera Business Card). They loved the business card so much that they asked if they could start using my Camera Business Card as a sample product! What?!!! OH YES, You may use my card for your promotional packets.
I was so excited. Marathon loved them so much and they had such great feedback on their end that they are making some up and putting them in promotional packs sent out to their customers and vendors. And they are also using them at trade shows.

Hope you're doing well today. Your recent order for camera business cards turned out really well. They turned out so well in fact that Marathon would like to use them as samples. We sometimes get requests for samples of finished products, need samples to display at events, or to display in our marketing materials. Would it be alright with you if we use any of your pieces as samples or to display? If so, we would show them exactly as you designed them. Please let me know. We'd truly appreciate it.
